A rapidly growing advertising and marketing agency, based in the San Diego area (Carlsbad, California), has an immediate opening for a CGI and VFX developer.
The ideal candidate has a passion for 3D modeling and animation and has a strong understanding of digital video development. The 3D/Video Engineer will work directly with upper management to plan and develop scientific 3D models and animations, educational patient/physician videos, and internal 3D design/video projects for both Web and DVD output. Candidates who do not meet all of the following requirements, but excel in one or more key areas will be considered.
Requirements
• Self-starter with energy, ideas, discipline and enthusiasm
• Ability to follow scripts, translate descriptive ideas to digital output, and foresee future problems before they occur
• Fluency in Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 (and the CS3 Creative Suite)
• Working knowledge of digital audio editing
• Demonstrated experience in modeling and texturing using 3DS Max and Photoshop (or equivalent 3D and 2D programs)
• Team-player with excellent drive and communication skills
• Strong eye for light, shade, color and detail
• Advanced Adobe After Effects skills a must
Assets
• Experience with medical 3D animation
• Strong understanding of various Web formats and online video integration standards
• Experience in sales and training video production, development of 15-30 second branding/mood films
