Advanced BioHealing (ABH) is a specialty biotechnology company focused on the development and marketing of cell-based and tissue-engineered products. We are a privately held company with two approved products: Dermagraft® and TransCyte®. Our development pipeline also includes a next-generation bioengineered wound therapy for which two Investigational Device Exemption (IDE) applications have been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
We currently have an opening for a Marketing Communications Intern at our La Jolla, CA manufacturing facility.
Job Description:
The Marketing Communications Intern’s main responsibility would be to support the activities of the Marketing Communications Department, projects may include, but will not be limited to:
Assist in the development of marketing and promotional materials
Design and edit PowerPoint presentations
Organize and manage asset library
Website maintenance
Coordination of trade show events.
Monitor and update inventories for printed materials
General administrative tasks as needed
Job Requirements
We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in gaining experience in healthcare marketing, communications, and design. Resourcefulness, ability to take initiative and to work creatively are vital. Communication skills, both verbal and written, and experience with PowerPoint are essential. Knowledge of HTML and Adobe Design Suite is a plus.

Education Requirements
Currently working on a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or design.
