Guild has an opportunity for full-time highly organized and professional Payroll Administrator. This position will be responsible for processing the company’s semi-monthly, multi-state payroll.

This position will handle all aspects of payroll processing for approximately 1000 employees, and provide back-up coverage for some HR related tasks. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Prepare, process, and audit semi-monthly payroll in an accurate and timely manner while ensuring the integrity of data processed.
• Maintain and update employee information in payroll and timekeeping system.
• Calculate, enter, and audit employee hours and earnings.
• Answer payroll questions and respond to employee questions regarding payroll/timekeeping issues.
• Prepare semi-monthly and monthly payroll reports.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment requirements related to wage and hour, payroll tax, and multi-state payrolls including California pay rules.
• Experience with leave of absences.
• Perform general administrative duties associated with Payroll.

Qualified candidates will possess 2 to 3 years experience in all aspects of payroll (timekeeping, garnishments, etc). Knowledge of commonly used payroll concepts, practices, and procedures required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, accuracy and professionalism are a must. Experience with one or more of the following payroll products strongly desired: ADP PC/Payroll for Windows, ADP ezLaborManager. HR and payroll-related certifications helpful but not required.
