Many of the services address the needs of those who have become involved in the legal system and require specialized evaluations or tailored therapeutic interventions to address their needs and to meet the expectations of the agencies with which they have become involved.

Position Summary
Currently hiring a Substance Abuse Counselor for our San Diego office. This position is responsible for providing both short-term and long-term therapeutic, recovery-oriented services to a post-incarcerated, outpatient population, which includes: individual therapy, group therapy facilitation, and administering intake assessments with written reports and monthly treatment plans. Prior training in addiction treatment is required, along with knowledge of cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic therapeutic interventions.

Minimum Requirements
• 2 years of clinical experience with substance abuse and/or forensic treatment
• Pre-licensed or licensed therapist (MFTi, MFT, ASW, LCSW, Psy.D., Ph.D.)
• Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Attention to detail
• Experience with substance abuse/forensic intake assessments, individual therapy and group facilitation
• Ability to work well on a team, adaptable to change, proven effective communication
