Looking for a Church Home in Alpine?
Need to start meeting with a small group of Christians for love and encouragement? There are home groups most days of the week.

The basics to finding a home church:
1. Their statement of faith should be clearly consistent with the essentials of historical Christian doctrine. Please click to review what is considered essential beliefs for Christian Churches:

Once at the equip.org website, you can research individual denominations or questionable sects or religious groups.
2. Go to a church where you can get involved with other Christians for encouragement and personal growth in our common faith.
3. Pray and ask our Lord to make it clear where He would have you worship and utilize your gifts.
4. Persevere! Do not allow previous experiences or discouragement to sway you against getting involved in your local church.
5. Actively examine and test what is being taught to be sure preaching and teaching is consistent with the essentials of historical Christian doctrine. Paul writes:
" Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies, but test everything; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil. Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it." 1THESSALONIANS 5:16-24 ( ESV Bible, emphasis added)
