Solekai Systems is a software engineering services company specializing in design, development, integration, and test. Our unique combination of experience and skills enables us to consistently deliver successful results.
We have multiple openings for Java Applications Developers to assist on a US Government project. Due to governement security regulations, applicants MUST BE US CITIZENS TO BE CONSIDERED. The project is expected to be a three month contract.
The Java Application Developer:
- Develops and modifies software programs for the operating system.
- Develops logic for and encodes, tests, modifies and debugs software packages to suit the operating environment.
- Assists in the design, coding, testing, and implementation of systems related routine modifications. Installs and maintains software products on the computer system.
- Analyzes and fixes problems associated with the software packages and forwards then to appropriate vendor for problem resolution.
- Monitors system and corrects any errors or inconsistencies. Independently develops computer programs in accordance with program and system design specifications.
- Develops block diagrams and logic flow charts.
- Translates detailed design into computer program-coded instructions.
- Tests, debugs, and refines the programs to produce desired results.
- Develops necessary program documentation including operational procedures.
- Revises programs to make refinements, reduce operating time, or improve efficiency.
Minimum Requrements for the Java Application Developer include:
- US Citizenship, due to government security regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics. Equivalent experience or training may be substituted for a degree.
- Four (4) years experience in general systems engineering
- Advanced degree may be substituted for up to 4 years of experience
