Experience:
Majoring in Computer Science, Math, or related degree or related experience.
Or 1-2 years experience in a programming-related position.
Skills:
Java / J2EE / JSP
HTML / Javascript
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Strong trouble shooting skills
Knowledge of SQL language MS SQL Server experience a plus.
Ajax / JSF a plus.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test web applications
Architect parts of or whole web applications
Maintenance of existing code base including database scripts and stored procedures
Design components within a global web-based application using object-oriented methodology
Create technical documentation such as design documents, guidelines, and standards
Work in a team environment using a structured development process
Regular communication with team on project progress, issues, and risks
Technical accountability for project delivery on time and on quality
Schedule:
Part-time: Schedule is flexible. Approximately 20-25 hours/week.
