IQ has an incredible, captivating and innovating stage presence, and a subtle laid back punchy type of flow that can carry you comfortably through the end of the set. At the same time twisting words and rhymes like a human dictionary. IQ started writing rhymes at 10 years old and recorded his first song at age 11. He always loved hip-hop as far back as he could recall. Throughout his life he probably wrote and recorded a couple hundred songs, most of which are rare demos, old tapes and mix CDs. Old dusty underground joints like what goes around comes around (1991), Keepin it Simple, (1990), Stay high all night (1995) are just a few jewels of hard to find IQ material. IQ and cousin Jay war started Intelligence Records in 2004 and IQ and others went to work on their first CD entited Intelligence Records Presents Underground Revolution, Which IQ basicly stared in for the most part. (Instores now.) IQ, IandI, Kasper, and others also recorded Underground Revolution vol. 2 at the same time in a small studio in the back of a furniture store killing 2 birds with one stone. Spending all there free time in the lab. When ever they werent at there day jobs. IQ is now working on his solo album titled ADD the EP set to drop in late 05. Also be on the lookout for Intelligence Records first music video starring IQ and Kasper called "real hip-hop" airing on musicplustv.com, and various websites and small TV networks across southern California. It was filmed by a hard hitting perspective director/DJ named 3rdi, who formed a tight friendship with IQ and later became his DJ. KASPER true lyricist and airtight producer. Kaspers ambitions run high and his creativity runs deep. At age 14 he joined a crew called Sick Wit It that consisted of 4 high-school seniors. He gained a reputation very quickly as an MC that could serve most MCs in battles and win with very little effort. His name became very well known in Crestine and the Inland Empire in a short amount of time. He always wanted to be an MC, even at 11 years old. This was his dream since he could remember. The beat is his canvas and the lyrics paint his pictures. At age 17 he scored his first deal, signing an indie contract to Kastlevania. He was moving forward in his career while still maintaining straight As in high school and rocking local house parties on the weekends. The founder of Kastlevania, a rapper/producer named Eternal took Kasper under his wing and showed him the ropes of the music buisiness while helping Kasper tighten up his own production. Eternal also helped open his eyes to obstacles that may lie ahead, believing in Kaspers abilities and helping Kasper keep his dreams alive. While under contract with Kastlevania, Kasper helped win the 2002 San Diego Music Awards. Shortly thereafter, Kastlevania split up, and in 2004 Kasper signed yet another indie contract to Intelligence Records, a company founded by his long-time friend and sick wit it member Jesse Ward and cousin Kevin Paul. Kasper said he felt re-ignited as an artist, and Kaspers passion for hip-hop was at an all-time high. He is currently featured on the Intelligence Records mix CDs and is in the studio working on the new Linguistics album with Entity and IQ, so keep your eyes peeled and your Heads Up
ENTITY-The Immaculate Conception n. A real being, whether in thought (as an ideal conception) or in fact; being; essence; existence. For the man of many forms and transformation, this MC is forever evolving. Especially with his intricate rhyme schemes and mind blowing metaphors. No song is ever the same as he laces his vocals accordingly to any beat producers might throw at him. Leaving listeners wanting more with jaws dropped in anticipation of what hell say next. Hailing from the lone star state still possessing his southern slang only brings a new flavor to the L.A. underground scene. Rhyming since the age of 13, Entity has rocked many house parties himself or with the likes of fellow MCs Lord Castor, Catholist, and Progenie Phthalo also from Texas before moving out to Cali at the age of 18 looking forward to 4 years of duty with the United States Marine Corps. Entity didnt have much time to work on his music but still managed to write on a daily basis, drop 2 tracks, and master his freestyling ability. Getting out at the age of 22 Entity was determined to make his dream of being an MC come true. So with the determination and passion for hip-hop on his side he meet Eternal, rapper/producer and CEO of Kastlevania Entertainment who signed Entity to an indie contract after hearing just one verse in late 2001. Eternal showed Entity the ins and outs of the music business and helped heightened his senses in overall writing skills and the production side of things. Still with Kastlevania, Entity lent a hand in winning the 2002 best hip-hop album of the year award at the San Diego music awards. Shortly thereafter, Kastlevania split up and contacts were lost, though not forever. In late 2004 fellow crew member of Kastlevania by the name of Keith Herington (Kasper) called Entity with details of a new company called Intelligence Records. A company founded by Jesse Ward (Jay-War) and his cousin Kevin Paul (IQ). Intelligence Records were eager to meet hungry MCs to fill their roster with some of the sickest spitters never heard. Only hearing old joints through long time friend Kasper of the Kastlevania era was all that was needed to land Entity recognition and another indie contract. Entity is now on a roll with the Intelligence Crew doing shows in L.A. and around San Diego. He is currently in the lab with fellow label mates IQ and Kasper working on an LP that should drop egos and raise lyrical skill when it drops in 2007. ]]>
