Electrical Engineering Position - Full time with Benefits - Salary Negotiable and Commensurate with Experience
Innovative and versatile integrator / manufacturer located in San Diego is seeking a electrical engineer to support projects, product development and manufacturing process from start to finish. This individual will work on new and existing systems from initial concept through to final SAT. Tasks will vary from system design, development and configuration in the Utility Market. Candidate must be an electrical engineer and have a strong background in PLC programming.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Providing ongoing support for existing systems,
* Working daily with sales and product development team to implement improvements and to complete projects quickly.
* Writing PLC programming code.
* Diagnosing problems - Customer and Field Tech Support - On site, via phone and Internet
* Design and implement cost-effective product modifications to help improve reliability
* Negotiating with suppliers to ensure competitive component price points, reliability and availability of the product.
Job Requirements:
* Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
* Experience working with working in the Utility Market
* 10 years of working electrical engineering experience in projects, engineering and design, system support
* Ability to meet deadline demands, and schedules
* Strong organization, communication, and presentation skills
* Some travel may be required for short durations.
