We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in San Diego, CA Details for the positions are as follows;
Job Description:
• Position involves the development of mechanical components and systems for high reliability environments.
• Designs will vary from electronic rack components, brackets, and packaging to larger system level designs. Responsibilities will include basic component research, modeling, drafting, and Bill of Material (BOM) generation. This hands on position will require involvement from conceptual design through system integration.
• years of Solid Modeling with Pro/Engineer, plus working knowledge of Pro/INTRALINK, and years of sheet-metal and machine part design.
• Must be capable of generating and reviewing engineering designs to MIL-DLT-31000, ASME Y14.100 and have a full understanding of the dimensioning and tolerancing of ASME Y14.5.
Job Requirements:
• Possess technical flexibility and willingness to learn. Some travel may be required.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Position requires a BSME plus a minimum of 2 years' related professional experience.
