E J Hernan and Associates is interested in talking with individuals who have experience in conducting Transition Assistance Program (TAP) seminars. Seminar Instructors will conduct TAP for separating and retiring military personnel and Executive TAP seminars. Each Instructor will have (at a minimum) a bachelor’s degree, three years experience providing career development including certification & understanding of interests and personality assessments (such as Meyers Briggs Type Indicator) while covering topics such as Troops to Teachers, Federal and State employment, finances and unemployment, and Pre-Separation Counseling. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, equivalent work experience may be substituted on the basis that a bachelor’s degree equals six years of work experience. Any substituted work experience will be in addition to the required stated minimum of three years experience providing career development services.
