Description:
Applied Professional Training, Inc is building its electric power industry education division and is in search of creative and self-motivated leaders who can help assist, develop and promote and sale our education programs. This position works directly with our experienced power instructors and existing client customers nationwide and internationally. The goal is to grow our professional power education presence by expanding our quality programs to existing and new customers. APT’s focus is to market our programs to expand our student base and to ensure the success of our students in the electric power industry. S/he should have 2-10 years of technical experience in the electric power industry with specific knowledge in power system basics, substation equipment, transmission lines, distribution facilities, customer services, system control centers, telecommunications, protective relaying and system normal/emergency operations. Knowledge in NERC power system operator training or any combination of the above is a major part of this position requirement. The individual must be open to flexible schedules and travel scenarios. Details: Position Requirements:
Technical Degree: Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineer with emphasis in power
Technical Experience: Minimum 2 years with an electric utility
High motivation, ambition with an ability to grow APT’s presence is a must.
Added qualifiers: Experience teaching for an electric utility, course development experience, sales experience and ability/desire to promote our educational programs.
