International Education Corporation (IEC) , headquartered in Irvine, CA, is a leading educator for career skills. We currently have ten campuses located in Southern California, Georgia, and Florida.
Due to growth we have immediate full-time, part-time, and substitute Massage Therapy Instructor openings at our UEI College, Chula Vista, CA location to conduct, evaluate, and implement MT course information that meet industry standardized requirements for Massage Therapy.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities include:
- Teach one or more subjects within the MT curriculum; recommend changes regarding textbooks and other aspects of the curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver lecture and lab demonstrations as outlined in curriculum.
- Ensure student’s conceptual understanding of employability skills.
- Seek alternatives to improving student outcomes, reducing attrition, and increasing retention.
- Actively participate in faculty staff meetings.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in massage therapy.
- Professional affiliations.
- National Certification by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork
