Coyne and Associates has an In-Home ABA Early Intervention Program for children with Autism who are younger than three years old. We are looking for a teacher who speaks Spanish who is trained in teaching techniques based on Applied Behavior Analysis, such as: Discrete Trial Teaching, Errorless Teaching, Pivotal Response Teaching and other related techniques. Applicant must have some training and experience in using teaching techniques based on Behavior Analysis applied to children with Autism. We are interested in people who can speak 2 languages, for example, English and Spanish or English and an Asian language (Mandarin, Japanese etc. )
All teachers must complete a 40 hour training program and pass a test before a caseload is provided. A teacher works in the homes of three children each day. There is considerable driving required. A reliable and dependable car, a clean driving record, a driver's license, and auto insurance is required. The teacher must pass an FBI fingerprint clearance. A BA in Psychology, Education or a related field is required.
Please do not apply if you do not have some training in discrete trial teaching or if you do not have a BA degree.
The salary range is $15 to $20 per hour depending upon training and experience. You must have some experience working with children with autism. You must have some training in Applied Behavior Analysis. If you have limited experience your salary will be $15 per hour during training and up to $16.50 after your 90 day review. If you are well trained already and have experience your salary may range from $16.50 per hour to $20 per hour, depending upon the amount of training and experience you have. Full Time only. A benefit package is available is available for full time employees.
