Position responsibilities:
Oversee the analysis and planning of all functional departments within a multinational company
Oversee all management reporting and analysis
Deliver FP&A process for monthly/quarterly financials and communicating results
Providing financial data to finance and operating teams in an effort to drive growth
Provide necessary analytics to highlight key business performance drivers; Identify risks and opportunities throughout the quarter and develop processes to mitigate risks while capitalizing on opportunities
Consolidate actual operating performance and reporting results
Working with Finance Managers and operations leaders to drive opportunities for improvement in variable cost, base cost, and material variance
Lead and / or participate in simplification projects that will facilitate and increase capacity for value-added financial analysis
Build and analyze scenario models reflecting the impact on results based on modeling the key drivers for strategic planning, investor guidance, etc.
Develop financial models to assist the company in assessing the viability of potential mergers and acquisitions.
Develop and improve financial processes: Finance reporting tools, Management reporting tools, budgeting and estimating processes, standard production cost set ups and analyses, Capital Investment
Create financial models used in the assessment of new verticals
Assist Senior Management with the preparation of materials for Board of Directors meetings, analyst meetings, and other strategic partners
Assist with ad-hoc analysis requests from the CFO, CEO, and President as required to respond to emerging business issues
Monitor and compile data regarding industry trends focusing on ROI, Total Cost of Capital, and the SaaS market
Follow industry and competitor trends and relate the impacts to the companys businesses; help identify responsive actions the company could take
Conduct ad-hoc analyses, including; financial, statistical, and analytical assessments, including financial modeling, revenue/cost forecasting, and risk/return analysis
Job Requirements:
BS/BA degree in business or related field required. MBA a plus
Strong understanding of accounting rules
Previous experience working in a matrixed environment a plus
Minimum 7 years work experience and ability to work in an unstructured environment where you will work on multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications such as Oracle
Expert in Hyperion
Strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (pivot tables, Vlookup, etc)
Experience with multiple business models including software and marketing
Knowledge of financial modeling, business valuations, budgeting, and financial analysis
Have worked in a fast paced, large, multi-national corporate environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to articulate results and recommendations of analysis to a variety of audiences within the organization (for example laterally across peers, and upward to Sr. Mgmt.) - Strong project management skills
