Our client is in search of (2) Junior Contracts Administrators to join their team for a long term temporary opportunity.

The Contract Administrator will provide administrative, analytical and procedural support for the the Contract Administration Department. These activities include but are not limited to providing support services to internal and external customers. The Contract Administrator acts as liaison between account executives, regional sales directors, the director of national accounts, product directors, information services, senior management in processing and administration of all contracts. Additionally, the Contract Administrator will work closely with marketing, sales and finance to support various goals and programs.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Administer contracts, analyze and enforce of contract purchase commitments and inputting pricing are the primary responsibilities of this position. Other responsibilities include the associated coordination, tracking and control of contracts that include but are not limited to:
• Reviewing contract pricing with Marketing and Sales. Obtain additional documentation from sales force if needed to support proposed pricing.
• Minimize or eliminate contractual liability by reviewing contracts and ensuring contractual changes meet policy and other requirements based on specified legal and business criteria. Negotiate and draft contract changes with customers.
• Assist sales with customer proposals, pricing worksheets and contracts meeting specified criteria.
• Maintain contract logs for new contracts and amendments.
• Perform database maintenance on an ongoing basis to insure accurate reporting.
• Review and monitor compliance of contracts and regularly notify appropriate individuals when compliance is not met. Monitor pricing issues and notify distributor when pricing is incorrect. Interfacing with distributor to provide credits as needed.
• Input and track customer rebates and administration fees. Publishing and distributing relevant quarterly reports to Finance to enable Finance to set financial reserves for rebates, marketing programs and administrative fees.
• Amend contracts for new products, term extensions or pricing changes.
• Coordinate retrieval of rental equipment when contracts are canceled or lost.
• Support National Accounts Department with system agreement proposals.
• Act as a resource to the Sales organization in regards to current policies and programs.
• Maintain and provide updates to current contracts, Pricing Approval Form, all related forms and distributing as needed.
• Assist in insuring that contracts and transactions comply with all relevant rules and regulations in the healthcare industry.
• Knowledgeable of federal and other regulations, e.g. QSR’s, ISO, ISO 13485, CMDR
• Provide supervision and training for the contract compliance administrator. Provide support to the contract administrator as needed.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
• Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices.



Education/Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree preferred. High school graduate required with some college coursework in business, accounting or related field.

Minimum intermediate Excel experience a must.

Additional training in computer-based data systems, word-processing or other type of accounting software such as spreadsheets.

Two to four years experience directly related to contract administration, preferably within the healthcare industry preferred.

Demonstrated ability to effectively and constructively communicate across departmental disciplines while pursuing contract department goals.

Job qualifications:

• Organized, detail oriented, thorough, accurate.
• Must have customer service attitude & excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Must have good communication & organizational skills with a focus on detailed work.
• Must be able to work as part of a team, meet deadlines & take instruction from multiple persons
• Experience working with proposal & contract documentation is necessary.
• Prior experience in healthcare industry preferred.
• Organized approach to data/document reporting, tracking and maintenance.
