Encore Capital Group has an opportunity for a Process Manager within our Acquisitions and Sales Support Department. The Process Manager is responsible for all aspects of document management operations, managing business process development and improvement projects from conceptualization through implementation including problem definition, process mapping, data analysis, process analysis, recommendations, implementation and establishment of performance tracking. This role also serves in a consulting capacity between Business and IT groups. The individual will be a liaison to IT as well as an active contributor in key discussions pertaining to strategy, project scope, objectives and defining and communicating solutions. The Process Manager manages the account documentation team, ensuring that effective processes, measures and controls are established.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:
•Serve as liaison between business units and IT for business process development and improvement projects to help establish business requirements and functional specifications.
•Work with Business Sponsors on an ongoing basis outside of project activities to understand their business and the processes and systems that support their business.
•Coordinate with business partners and vendors to design and implement business improvements.
•Collaborate with IT on projects throughout the system development lifecycle and develop subject matter expertise with the systems that support Encore’s business.
•Identify, understand and clearly communicate business problems with cross functional project teams
•Serve as project manager of cross-functional teams, including working with external parties
•Perform process flow mapping, identify issues and opportunities, form hypotheses, collect and analyze data, analyze processes, synthesize conclusions, make recommendations, and help implement change
•Develop solid knowledge of key business systems to facilitate problem resolution
•Collaborate and communicate cross-functionally and interact effectively with senior management, channel managers and other department personnel
•Oversee the document management team and processes.

Candidates should possess the following:
•Bachelor’s Degree required; business or technology focus preferred.
•5+ years experience in business strategy development, system analysis or related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
•Proven process documentation improvement/management skills
•Strong project management ability
•5+ years experience supervising employees and vendor relations.
•Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including: Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
•System query skills a plus, Six-Sigma or PMP certification a plus
•Development experience in Salesforce, SQL, Java, Foxpro, SQL, RPG, or CL a plus.
