The Gourmet Foods Business Analyst will drive the site optimization and maximize the dollars per site visitor for the Gourmet Food websites including Cherry Moon Farms, Secret Spoon and Shari’s Berries. Additionally, the analyst will support critical analysis to achieve financial goals.
Primary Responsibilities include:
•Analyze and optimize product placement and content on websites to drive higher conversion and increase overall dollars/site visitor.
•Work with team to brainstorm and prioritize site tests and coordinate execution of tests. Support the analysis of site tests to determine best practices.
•Coordinate with supply chain operations, merchandising and marketing teams to promote and demote key products based on inventory levels and marketing requirements, especially during peak holiday times..
•Ensure holiday web pages are developed and populated correctly with product, as part of site updates.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree required
•2+ years quantitative analysis experience. Ideally in building models, forecasting and analyzing test results.
•Demonstrated ability to consistently identify and use all available quantitative information to make good business decisions.
•Interest in internet marketing
•Detail oriented with strong execution focus
•Ability to coordinate with internal groups and thrive in a fast-paced environment
•Ability to multitask
•Works well in team environment
•Knowledge of basic financial concepts such as revenue recognition and cost allocation.
•High level of proficiency in MS Excel required and an advanced skill level with other MS Office applications preferred.
•Knowledge of Access or other database software, SQL/SAS and Omniture web analytics required
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work under pressure of deadlines.
