Our Southern California team is looking for a part time Retail Accounting Manger that provides financial guidance to the franchise owners. This position ensures the development, implementation, and daily management of all financial and accounting procedures.

Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this position at any time due to business needs.

Qualifications:

Responsible for all Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
Summarize monthly and quarterly financial results for management
Reviews and diagnoses variances to plan and forecast
Responsible for company cash flow
Assist with developing budgets and forecast models
Assist in the development of the Annual Plan and Monthly Forecasts
Ensure adequate controls/processes implemented with regard to key processes to protect company assets (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, etc)
Assist in the Annual Physical Inventory process
Ensure compliance with Tax and other Governmental reporting policies
Manage month-end accounting process
Provide regular ad hoc analysis as requested by management
Ensure all Balance Sheet accounts are reconciled and properly supported on a regular basis
Analyzes various accounting/financial issues as requested by management
Analyzes company expenses/contracts for appropriate spending and savings
Responsible for bi-weekly payroll processing


JOB COMPETENCIES:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
3+ years of knowledge of accounting principles.
QuickBooks experience is required
Ability to learn proprietary in house software application for accounting and inventory purposes
Understanding how to and analyze business financial reports
Works well with others and team player
Must be computer savvy and proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
Ability to work with limited supervision and achieve results
