Job Description
We are looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to be a part of our Accounting Team. We are a Full Charge Bookkeeping Services company that handles the books for many companies around town. A bookkeeper will handle around a dozen clients monthly. There is light administrative work as well as ability to answer phones and filing. We are continually growing and would love to find someone who is a hard worker and wishes to work long term with our company and excel within.

This is not a Temp Job.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Please Read Before Applying for the Position
• Fluent in the English Language
• 2 or more years experience in bookkeeping
• Knowledge of a chart of accounts and debit and credit entries
• Minimum 2 years experience with QuickBooks
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, Word and Outlook e-mail
• Ability to work independently (self starter)
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up
• Outstanding organizational skills are a must

We are looking for a candidate who can handle bookkeeping procedures within QuickBooks on their own with very little or no training.
You must be able to handle the following duties within QuickBooks.
• Manage A/P and A/R
• Account reconciliations, including banking and merchant credit accounts
• Prepare Monthly Distribution Reports, as well as Balance Sheet, P&L, and A/R Reports
• Work with outside CPA to provide year-end reporting
• Filing and Light Administrative work

Personality Traits of Applicant Should Resemble:
• Someone who is able to work as a team member or independently. A self-starter!
• Someone who is personable and able to talk on the phone and/or emails daily.
• Someone responsible and trustworthy, on-time, with good work ethics.
• A go getter personality.

Compensation
Pay is commensurate with skill level. $15 - $20 per hour. Depending on skill and level of experience. Promotions given after 30, 60, 90 days.
