What I need from you:
Once the client and I finalize the design, we will need you to perform a free site visit to analyze our situation.
We will need you to accurately determine if the project will require structural calcs and a stamp. Obviously honesty is very important here.

All in all I believe my hard drive may be fried and I need a new one. Is this most likely the case?
I have constantly backed everything up via time machine but do have a few files that have not made it on time machine since I havnt backed it up in a week or two, will I still be able to access these files if I replace the HD without formatting it?
Also, if I can pull up disk utility by the cd drive, can I create a "disk image" onto a external hard drive and use this as a back once the new drive is put in by recalling this disk image? or will the image be messed up bc the hard drive is messed up?
And last question, I had already upgraded to a 500gig HD (the one messing up now which I am referring to in this post). Can I replace this with a 1TB (terabyte) hard drive which matches the same dimensions? (i believe they are SATA 2.5")?
