To all who will read this: My niece who has 4 children, 2 boy’s and 2 girl’s is in the process of loosing one of her boy’s. Tyler who is 8 years old, is being forced to be returned to his dad in Iowa. He does not want to go back. He was born and raised for six years with his mom, brother and sisters. When my niece came to California it was to better herself and her children. Tyler’s dad would not allow her to bring him with her so between the two of them, decided to leave Tyler with his dad and allow Amy (my niece) visitation. The first time Tyler came out to California, Amy went back to pick him up and fly out here with him. She paid all expenses for the trip. Tyler returned back to Iowa without incident. However, the second time Tyler came here for a visit, Tyler told his mom, dad and the rest of the family here that he did not want to return to Iowa, he wanted to stay here with his mom, brother and sister’s. Amy contacted his dad by phone and put him on speaker when Tyler told him he wanted to stay here. Of course the dad thought he was being put up to that however, this was Tyler’s decision and no one instructed him to say that he wanted to remain in San Diego.

To make this long story somewhat short, Amy kept Tyler here, she could not bring herself to force him to do something that was going to make him sad and depressed. She took him to the dentist, the doctor and enrolled him in school. He has been happy, healthy and content with his life here. I am only his Great Aunt but he and his other sibling’s all call me grandma. Tyler loves us all. Yesterday the police went to his school and took Tyler and arrested his mother for kidnapping. Now he has to return to Iowa and so does she to face charges that should have never been. Amy was only doing what any other mother would have done to make sure that her child was happy. He was doing very well in school and his classmates really like and respect him.

Amy is on unemployment right now as she was terminated from her telemarketing job. Amy is in the process of going to UEI for Pharmacutical classes to better her life and the life of her children’s. She is doing very well in her classes, one of the top students. Amy does not drink, smoke, does not do drugs and is very family oriented. Her house is exceptionally clean for a mother of 4 and the kids are fed, clothed and happy.

What I would like is for her to have legal representation in this matter however, no funds to fight with. Without money and an attorney I feel that she is going to lose this battle and may never be able to see her son again. Tyler has told us that if he has to return he will kill himself and God forbid that should happen.
I believe, in my heart that this whole mess has started over the fact that Tyler’s dad is forced to pay child support and that is something that he does not want to do.

If there is a lawyer out there who is new to child custody suit’s and looking for experience and can work pro-bono or make monthly payments, please come forward and help my niece. We really do not know who to turn to and would appreciate any help that we could get. She may be extradited to Iowa next week and my fear is that she may go to jail to serve time or have a felony conviction or both if she doesn’t get help. If she was going to kidnap him, she wouldn’t have done it in plain sight.

ART this camp will feature a variety of fun and exciting projects! Our schedule includes drawing, origami, tie dye, clay, painting with acrylics, watercolor, treasure boxes and more! No classes repeat and children receive organized instruction in all classes! Classes are geared toward incorporating advanced artistic concepts with age appropriate themes.

MUSIC will be the child's choice of piano, guitar or violin with introductions to other instruments such as trumpet, trombone and flute. More advanced children are allowed to bring their music books to work with our music degreed instructors. These classes offer actual instruction - note reading, rhythm, and technique.

DRAMA includes activities for the active outgoing child as well as the introverted, deep thinker. Active children will enjoy performing in front of their peers by improvising and presenting scripted skits. Deep thinkers will be engaged with set production, project management, and storyboarding - an essential aspect of film and theater.

INDOOR SPORTS SAMPLER includes Hacky Sac, Indoor Soccer Skills, Balloon Volley Ball, Indoor Basket Ball and Circuit Training! Lots of variety throughout the summer!
