This Econoline Super Van is a former plumbing van that I picked up on Ebay some time around Jan 2008. I drove it in the worst rain storm of the year from Fillmore, CA to San Diego - about 180 miles. No problems, just scared the heck out of me a few times!

I picked this van because it is an excellent example of the 60's era. My intention was to rat rod/surf rod it to use around the local beach area. Well, other things came up and now I am begrudgingly letting it go. The title is 100% clean and clear, ready to be signed over to the new owner of this classic machine. Current registration is good until August of 2008.

I don't know a whole lot about this van other than it was pretty much in the same family for many years and used in the family plumbing business. I believe it is a 240 CI straight six that starts up really easy. Manual choke. Emergency brake does not work. A little valve tick that goes away once she warms up. Smooth shifting 3 on the tree, good clutch and decent brakes. I drove it 180 miles in the rain on SoCal freeways and didn't get wrecked, so they must work ok!

There's a whine in the rear end and the steering is slightly loose but manageable. This pretty much what you can expect of a van of this vintage. The interior is basic and a little beat up and would considered rough. The only gauges that work are oil and alt, the others do not and the speedo needle bounces and rarely stays fixed. All lights, brake lights, turn signals work. The inside needs a thorough cleaning and you might want to throw in some new bucket seats to.

The body on this van is incredibly straight and there isn't any bondo or rust that I could find. Some surface rust on the gutters, but very minor. It's a great start to be restored or rodded, it's up to you. I am not a mechanic, so of course this is vehicle is sold as is where is and there are no guarantees expressed or implied.

This is a classic van and hard to find in this kind of shape!

I have a 1994 black, manual, 4cyl, BMW 318i Convertible for sale with 119,000 miles. It runs smooth, the suspension feels great, and it has a clean body with only a couple door dings. It is a good gas saver at 24-25 mpg and has a lot of power for the small 4 cylender sportscar. The manual convertible top was installed at the end of last year and is in perfect working condition and the back window is very clear. It already passed smog and is ready to go once you are... and for the price I am expecting a very quick sale.

Mechanically the Bimmer runs great and just needs to have the ABS and airbag lights reset. The passenger window motor is a little quirky and could use a little attention but it goes up every time and doesn't leak in the rain. Recently the belts, water pump, and battery were replaced and regular oil changes have been performed.

I had brakes and a tune-up done recently. It has an 8 cylinder engine but don't let that scare you off, when I put this girl in cruise control it tells you exactly what the milage is your getting, and let me tell you dear friends, she gets between 24 and 26 Mi per gal. (no crap), in the city,unless you beat on it, you'll get 13 to 16 per Gal. as well. Just like the new cars. (except the green ones) It has front wheel drive and if you tromp on it from a start, YES, you will squeal the tires. It holds 5 people comfortably, huge trunk w/spare, power everything,good tires, and single CD I had put in with new speakers. If you like big cars like I do, you'll love this one. It's safe!

The only thing you need to do is fix the compressor for AC, so if you got a buddy, a mechanic or are one, this should be no problem for you. The reason I'm selling this car is like everyone else, I bought another one. Registration good till January 2009. Clean title in hand.
